Brief description of the product/ process/ service

SPPL develops intelligent sensor networks for structural health monitoring (SHM) of large infrastructure (bridges, buildings, tunnels, power / transmission towers etc). Their sensors include vibration-based sensors and energy-harvesting sensors (i.e., sensors that generate their own power from structural vibrations) developed in collaboration with IIT Delhi. They provide a “fully digital solution” platform: instrumentation, data acquisition (field/remote), cloud analytics and dashboards for monitoring structural health in real time.
