U (Polyurethane) leather production is a manufacturing process in which a fabric base—usually polyester or cotton—is coated with a flexible polymer and then treated to create a texture and appearance similar to genuine leather. The process generally begins with preparing the base fabric, which is cleaned, stretched, and coated with a layer of liquid polyurethane using a roller or spray system.
