PRODUCT DESCRIPTION TARA is a compact, standalone device that can be seamlessly integrated into cosmetic packaging and works independent of any app or gadget. It is designed to activate the moment initiating tab is teared while the sealed product is opened for the first time. Once triggered, the device initiates an autonomous countdown corresponding to the product’s PAO period (e.g., 6M, 12M). During the safe usage window, it provides a visual indication in the form of a blinking green light. As the product reaches its PAO expiry date, the indicator shifts to a red light—providing a clear, unmistakable visual cue in the form of blinking red led that the product is no longer safe to use. The visual indication remains off during idle periods and is activated only during user interaction with the product. TARA is designed to provide clear indications both while the product is safe to use and when it has expired. Notably, if the user is away for an extended period and returns to use the product months after its PAO expiry, the device will still deliver a clear visual warning—ensuring continued consumer safety.
