Faridabad, 20 September- The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad has successfully conducted the Smart India Hackathon 2025 – Internal Round. The event was organised under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Rajive Kumar and facilitated by President IIC Dr. Rashmi Agarwal, along with dedicated team of Faculty Coordinators Dr. Payal Gulati (Associate Professor CE) and Dr. Sonam Khera (Assistant Professor EE).
The event witnessed participation from 432 students across 72 teams, with external judges Mrs. Saloni Kaul, Founder CEO It’s People & President FMA and Mr. Neeraj Sarup Sharma, Sr. Technology manager (Principal Engineer),Nagarro Software Ltd. ensuring fair evaluation. Projects addressed diverse problem statements in areas such as tourism, smart agriculture, healthcare, education, waste management, and digital governance.
After rigorous screening, 35 teams were shortlisted for National level SIH 2025.The event was a resounding success, celebrating innovation, creativity, and problem-solving spirit among young minds.
