India records the highest number of road accident deaths globally, with 45% involving two-wheeler riders and 66% of all fatalities occurring among youth aged 18–45. With over 70% of two-wheeler deaths linked to non-helmet use, the need for scalable, technology-driven solutions is urgent — and this is exactly why IIT Delhi launched the Bharat Safety initiative.
