The spirit of innovation is not limited to laboratories, startups, or institutions. Great ideas can emerge from students, farmers, entrepreneurs, professionals, government employees, and ordinary citizens who seek to solve everyday challenges.

As part of the "Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan", a nationwide public outreach campaign being organized to mark the birthday of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his 25 years in public life, Haryana is set to launch the SEWA First Innovation Challenge to harness the innovative potential of its citizens. The Innovation Challenge aligns with the Innovation Module envisaged under Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and aims to promote a culture of creativity, problem-solving, and citizen participation.

To facilitate widespread participation, a dedicated SEWA First Innovation Challenge Portal will be launched on 17th September 2026, inviting applications from across Haryana. The portal will provide an opportunity for students, startups, entrepreneurs, professionals, grassroots innovators, researchers, including the most influential stakeholders viz citizens to submit innovative ideas, products, technologies, and solutions that can contribute to societal welfare and development. The initiative seeks to identify promising innovations that address real-life challenges. By providing a common platform for innovators and citizens, the challenge aims to transform innovative ideas into actionable solutions for the benefit of society.
