Startup Haryana, Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Haryana in collaboration with Startup India is organizing Government e-Marketplace (GeM) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Workshop DPIIT Registered Startups in Haryana.
Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is an online procurement platform for Government ministries and departments, and the most widely used channel for public procurement in India. Startups can register themselves on the GeM portal and get the access to the wide interface for selling the products & services to the prominent buyers from the Government sector or the PSUs.
Intellectual property (IP) is a right which refers to an exclusive ownership on varieties of intangible assets, such as designs, discoveries, inventions, etc. recognized under the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) law. Under the TRIPS agreement, some of the most common types of intellectual property rights are copyright, trademarks, patents and industrial design, etc.
